More heavy rain is coming to NZ with 150 to 250mm over the next 48 hours in the upper South Island and 100 to 150mm across parts of the North Island.
Rain is heavy enough to cause more widespread slips and flooding in the upper South Island but risks are easing on the West Coast slowly over the coming days.
Some isolated flood and slip risks for the North Island now too.
Australia has a windy westerly change moving along the southern coastline with showers and patchy rain in VIC and TAS and perhaps just brushing ACT.
By Monday a bigger and cooler south west change moves into WA, SA and VIC basically at the same time, as NZ sees weather conditions continue to ease.
