YASA is a Severe Cat 5 Cyclone for the history books – and it hasn’t made landfall in Fiji yet.
The major storm is expected to make landfall in Fiji later this afternoon or maybe early evening.
The storm has winds gusting to 315km/h, 12 metre waves and is expected to bring up to 300mm of rain in some parts.
We have the very latest tracking and forecast as of Thursday morning.
We also take a look at what Yasa will do after Fiji – and if there is any chance it might affect NZ in any way.
