VIDEO: Cooler southerly moving in – Powerful high dominates afterwards

Another cooler change is moving up the country over the next 48 hours but by Wednesday a powerful (and growing) high pressure belt from just south of Aussie will be moving our way.

This southern high will bring more dry, settled, weather to the South Island (after the cool change) and for the North Island it will encourage more La Nina like easterlies later this week and into this weekend.
