VIDEO: Cooler change in the south, some rain chances for the north

> From the WeatherWatch archives

An ex-cyclone, a tropical depression and a Southern Ocean low will all be affecting NZ in various ways this week – but a mainly dry week is the on way with the North Island perhaps getting 10mm in showers – so may be lucky and receive a little more, others may be less fortunate, like Canterbury.

Wednesday and Thursday will be cooler than average in a large portion of the South Island.

Next week there are some chances of a sub-tropical low, potentially bringing another 20mm (roughly) for northern NZ. Early days – worth keeping an eye on and we have an extra map showing the potential set up 7 days from now.
