VIDEO: Cooler air on the way + rain for the dry eastern North Is.

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A burst of rain is moving up the nation over the next day but it may be Hawke’s Bay that benefits the most from this wet, cooler, sou’easter.

Rainfall totals may approach 50 to 70mm in some places over the next 7 days.

But many other places have just 2 to 15mm coming, along with an Autumnal temperature drop.

A big high rolls in this weekend with warmer airflows returning by Sunday.
