Temperatures are dropping today in the south of NZ and the colder change will spread up the eastern side of both islands across Thursday and Friday, reaching the Far North by the early hours of Saturday morning.
It only brings a few showers – and some snow flurries on the hills but nothing much.
High pressure with frosts roll in this weekend for the South Island especially. Next week, however, northerlies kick in – with sub-tropical airflows lifting daytime highs nationwide.
