Wednesday will be another hot day across New Zealand with every region warmer than normal – but on Thursday it swings the other way in the lower half of the South Island as another cold southerly arrives.
This southerly will be shorted lived and gone within about 36 hours. It will across Friday and Saturday morning to reach the very north of NZ.
We’re also monitoring low pressure near Fiji and Vanuatu which is expected to form into a tropical cyclone later this week or weekend – and one week from now may be near northern New Zealand.
