Spring is definitely here with an active, thundery, cold front and gales heading northwards – ahead of a low with sub-tropical connections later this week.
The new incoming low may end up bringing in much wanted rain to dry eastern parts of the North Island, like Hawke’s Bay. Rainfall totals from our RuralWeather.co.nz website also back this up.
The low may also produce more snow in the mountains and ranges of both main islands (especially the upper SI and lower NI).
