10 to 30mm is on the way for many South Island centres this weekend as a cold front moves northwards, meanwhile the North Island has showers developing and overnight lows increasing back up to the 20 degree mark.
In Australia it’s fairly quiet but hot weather in western areas next week will see daytime highs climb over 45C.

now can those lows by pass the south island and give to north some rain like the northen lows did for the south island fairs fairs that cyclone of yours blew a lot of the rain out of the ground again…….hence no good wishing for a cyclone to end a drought it might be a DRY WINDY one
