> From the WeatherWatch archives

A cold change is about to move up the country and drop temperatures by over 10 degrees in the east of both main islands.

One positive is that Hawke’s Bay may get some helpful rain in the days ahead.

This weekend it’s a typical Autumn set up with a storm near the South Island ensuring real variety in NZ’s weather. A similar rough forecast is also in place for the south eastern corner of Australia this weekend.
