Two southerlies injections this week will help make it feel more like Autumn is here.
The first is blowing up the country today, the second comes in around Wednesday/Thursday.
Neither are major cold events but just a reminder that the hottest part of summer is now behind us.
High pressure rolls in this weekend over NZ while the tropics remains very quiet following Cyclone Niran (now gone) at the weekend.
