Welcome to the mood swings of Autumn! We have a burst of cold weather spreading up New Zealand for the next 36 hours but as early as Wednesday afternoon will see temperatures lifting up above normal for half of the South Island.

By Friday 95% of NZ should be leaning warmer than average. We track the forecast to Sunday around New Zealand – plus next 5 days expected rainfall totals.
