Recorded Friday — We take a look at the latest 5 day rainfall maps for both NZ and also Australia, plus temperatures hit 45 degrees in some parts of Aussie.
Here in NZ a westerly flow is blowing across the country but it comes from two different sources – sub-tropical in the north and Southern Ocean airflows in the south.
This means heavy snow for the Southern Alps and becoming warmer than normal in many parts of the North Island. Mid to late next week a colder southerly is expected to spread nationwide.
