A wintry southerly will drive down temperatures along the southern side of Aussie this week bringing welcome rain into dry parts of WA, SA and VIC in particular. In fact for SA this may be a much better chance to get rain than previous weeks.
While a high pressure zone does follow this southerly it’s short lived – so another cold front will move along the southern coastline this weekend too.
Meanwhile over the Tasman Sea a large low remains in place driving in more colder southerlies for eastern TAS, VIC, the ACT and NSW. To the north QLD and NT look mostly settled and dry – a few isolated coastal showers are possible FNQ.
Our next update will be on Thursday.
