Messy westerly driven weather will affect NZ this week, bringing more wet weather to western and northern parts of the country, while eastern areas south of Hawke’s Bay will have a mostly dry week.

Some frosts return to the South Island this week as polar air returns – and spreads over some parts of the North Island later this week.
