A major rain event continues across parts of eastern Australia today and into Wednesday too – but it will ease on Wednesday.
The rainmaker is being enhanced by the huge stubborn high pressure system over NZ which is slowing down this rainmaker.
As the high slowly shifts off NZ this weekend what is leftover from this Aussie rainmaker will move in here – but rainfall totals for most places aren’t great. The West Coast has the greatest chance of a rain warning.

Crazy I live in Australia, NSW there’s major coastal and river flooding and the dams are overflowing. Mind Blowing

It’s certainly major, the worst in 50 years based on the news last night. Hope you’re not directly impacted where you are in NSW. Cheers for the Aussie update.
