A cold front is crossing NZ’s North Island today followed by a slightly cooler week for most, but again leaning drier than average as a powerful high pressure zone moves in.
This high is large and will reach all the way up to Fiji and Vanuatu – and also help encourage the very wet easterly flow into QLD (and later NSW).
Meanwhile a late season tropical cyclone in the Indian Ocean poses no threat to land – but wet weather does return to Perth later this week.
NZ has high pressure dominating for most of this week, crossing NZ around Thursday.
