VIDEO: A typhoon, a hurricane and NZ’s early spring weather pattern

We’re tracking weather from around NZ, Australia and the Northern Hemisphere in our update today.

Firstly New Zealand has entered an early spring weather pattern, defined by windy westerlies and pulses of colder air.

Over the days ahead winds warm back up again and, next week sub-tropical winds return.

OVERSEAS and we’re also tracking Hurricane Laura as it approaches the United States and Typhoon Bavi as it approaches the Korean Peninsula, China and Japan.
