VIDEO: A showery southerly for NZ on Sunday/Monday

High pressure is the main driver of our weather over the rest of August but we’ve still got some energy in the Southern Ocean to help send up some showers and southerlies later this coming weekend and to kick off next week.

The same high driving the southerly into NZ is also driving an easterly into eastern Australia with showers along the eastern coastline over the coming week.

We have your (brief) NZ forecast through to the middle of next week!
