We have high pressure dominating New Zealand but on Friday a little bit of wet weather will move in over the upper South Island and North Island, fading away on Saturday.
Rainfall totals are very patchy so we take a look at what totals we may expect between now and this Sunday night.
Totals vary from just a few mms to around 60mm, and a couple of mountainous areas may see even higher totals – but very isolated.
Generally speaking we still see more high pressure dominating the country as we continue through March, but there are signs the Autumn weather pattern is very slowly starting to wake up.
