VIDEO: A couple of weak rain makers coming in

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Fickle is the word of the day as we track a couple of weak low pressure systems tracking into the country over Friday and Saturday. The forecast is patchy from late Friday to Sunday with areas of showers, cloud and patchy rain. It’s a bit hard to lock in exactly where the rain will be but generally western, northern and then eastern areas will get some wet weather.

Fog patches are again possible on Friday morning for areas still under high pressure and with no wind, but low pressure is soon becoming the theme for the North Island as the high departs over the next 24 hours.

No severe weather in the forecast at this stage, although with anything sub-tropical it’s always worth paying close attention to the forecasts and latest weather news and videos.
