Windy westerlies continue this week but do show some signs of easing finally by Friday and going into the weekend.

This follows almost three weeks of early spring westerly driven weather helping boost NZ temperatures above normal for this time of year.

More mild weather will be coming in this week – but so too are a couple of cold fronts injecting some cold air on Tuesday and again on Thursday. Neither are major events.
