USA – Drought-hit California set for a drenching

An unusual weather pattern and warm water in the Pacific, better known as El Nino, are set to bring major storms to California this winter.

It could help ease the state’s historic drought but could also result in major flooding and mudslides as one of the largest rain-bearing storms in recent history begins to form.
