Heavy rain continues on the West Coast and blustery winds in some areas as low pressure in the Southern Ocean moves closer.
We have the latest on future rainfall and where that rain will fall as snow.

This mix of warm and cold will trigger some thunderstorms across the upper and western sides of the country over the next couple of days. See the MetService thunderstorm outlook and your detailed WeatherWatch.co.nz local 10 day foecast for more details.
