Rotorua is cautiously getting back to business, after widespread flooding.
Roads were closed, power cut, and sewage systems overwhelmed during heavy downpours yesterday.
Mayor Steve Chadwick says the town infrastructure is back up and running, but people’s homes will take a bit longer.
She says people should pay particular attention to how their roof and drainage held up to the severe weather, and check if repairs are needed.
