North Island farmers have been telling us how happy they are with the weather outlook this week, as rain falls on dry farming parts of the north.

Meanwhile the South Island (and parts of the lower North) continues to suffer in the dry, though there is plenty of rain and showers in the forecast this week.

The West Coast is wet (as usual), and cloud sticks around for most of the rest of the island – humid conditions mean it won’t be too cold for anyone.
