High pressure is continuing to cross New Zealand and it’s slowly pushing away the cold start to this week.
A windy flow still remains over parts of the North Island including Auckland, the Hauraki Gulf, Coromandel Peninsula and eastern areas like Hawke’s Bay. Winds will also pick up around Dunedin and Coastal Otago.
Cooler winds will continue around the eastern North Island with below normal temperatures again today, but it will be several degrees hotter than usual over the South Island as summer weather starts to bounce back.
Most places are dry today.
As always refer to your local HOURLY forecasts to drill down deeper on wind directions, chance of rain etc.
