WARM TODAY, COLD TOMORROW

A northwesterly airflow sets up over the country today ahead of a cold change moving in from the southwest.

Temperatures in the east will naturally be warm getting into the mid to late twenties today, tomorrow high’s will likely be in the mid to late teens. Not always a bad thing, makes sleeping at night nicer!

The upper North Island has consistent temperatures today and tomorrow in the early twenties.

More on temperatures here.

COLD IN THE SOUTH WEDNESDAY MORNING

Clearing skies early on Wednesday means temperatures about the far south will be a bit cold to start, the reality of a frost may be a bit far fetched but it could get close for the Lakes District area and Central Otago.
