Sorry to be a pain, but I’ve got to question the recent appearances of Hororata in the daily lows, when the temperature given is 5 to 6 degrees lower than Darfield (Today Darfield = 20, Hororata given as 15). They are in a very similar setting on the Canterbury plains, barely 10km apart. If I had to guess I would say you are getting a one-off reading, maybe at midday, rather than the day’s maximum. Although, if Hororata can have the high or low, why isn’t it in the general list?
