Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty A mix of sun and cloud, the odd shower possible, Bay Of Plenty has a sunny and dry day. West to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 15 – 17

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Partly cloudy, the odd shower. West to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 10 – 15

Eastern North Island

Sunny, some cloud for Wairarapa from afternoon. West to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 16 – 18

Wellington

Sunny, north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 15 – 16

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny, westerly winds, tending a little more southwest for Nelson at times.
Highs: 16 – 18

Canterbury

Mostly sunny and warm, a touch of high cloud. North to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 14 – 17

West Coast

Mostly cloudy with showers, rain for Fiordland. West to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 12 – 14

Southland & Otago
Showers, clearing in the afternoon for Southland then sun breaks through. Morning cloud for Otago then mostly sunny. Northwesterlies, gusty for coastal Southland.
