We have a west to southwest airflow over the country today, nothing overally interesting to note. Conditions should be pleasent in eastern regions while some cloud and the odd shower affects places out west.

Auckland & Northland
Cloudy spells with westerly breezes, the odd shower or two particularly in the west. Long dry spells too.
Highs: 16-17

Bay Of Plenty, Waikato & Central North Island
Sunny spells and some cloud with westerly breezes, skies mostly sunny about the Bay Of Plenty. Risk of a brief shower at times excluding the Bay Of Plenty.
Highs: 13-17

Eastern North Island
Mainly sunny with light winds tending westerly, any morning cloud clears.
Highs: 16-17

Western North Island
Cloudy periods with westerly breezes. The odd shower at times, long dry spells too.
Highs: 14-15

Wellington
Mostly sunny with northerly winds, becoming a little breezy during the afternoon then easing in the evening.
High: 14

Nelson
Sunny with west to southwest breezes.
Highs: 15-16

Marlborough
Sunny with light winds tending west to northwest.
High: 16

Canterbury
Mostly sunny after any morning low cloud clears, light winds.
Highs: 15-16

West Coast
Cloudy periods with the odd shower, dry spells too. Westerlies.
High: 12

Coastal Otago
Sunny with light winds, westerlies may freshen up a little in the afternoon but still remaining mostly sunny.
High: 15

Southland & Central Otago
Fine weather with thickening high cloud, a few spots of rain possible at times otherwise expect mainly dry conditions.
High: 13
