Tuesday’s national forecast

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A few showers are still possible about a few eastern sections of New Zealand today.  For most areas though, it looks like a settled and sunny day.

Showers are possible for Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, Marlborough and northern Canterbury.  Shower chances are not real high.  But they can’t be completely ruled out either.  Highs in these areas should be mainly in the upper teens.

For the rest of the country, look for settled and sunny weather.  North Island highs today will be in the lower to middle 20’s, except about Wellington where temperatures will struggle to make it out of the teens.

South Island highs will be mainly in the mid and upper teens.
