Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Partly cloudy, the odd isolated shower possible for Northland and Auckland. The Waikato and Bay of Plenty sees some morning cloud then mostly sunny. Southwesterly winds.
Highs: 14-16

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Cloudy areas and a few showers, west to southwesterly winds. Taranaki has a mainly dry day with a mix of sun and cloud.
Highs: 10-13

Eastern North Island
Cloudy areas and a few showers, mainly about Wairarapa and perhaps Hawkes Bay. Gisborne looks to have a mainly dry day. Southwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-14

Wellington
Morning showers then mostly sunny, southerlies tend northerly in the afternoon.
High: 12

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny with light winds tending north to northeast in the afternoon.
Highs: 13-14

Canterbury
Mostly sunny, light winds for most tending northeast near the coast.
Highs: 11-12

West Coast
Cloudy areas, may be a shower at times mainly for Fiordland and Buller. Southwesterly winds.
Highs: 11-12

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny, some cloud at times for Southland. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 12-13
