Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Cloudy areas and occasional sun, the odd shower at times mainly in the west, drier out east (Bay Of Plenty for e.g.). West to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-15

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Cloudy areas and the odd shower, may be a light snow flurry to 600m. Fresh westerly winds.
Highs: 8-13

Eastern North Island
A mainly sunny day, some high cloud possible. Westerly winds.
Highs: 13-15

Wellington
Mostly sunny, west to northwesterly winds.
High: 13

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with westerlies, tending a little more southwest about Nelson.
Highs: 11-13

Canterbury
Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 10-12

West Coast
Mostly cloudy with the odd shower, a few snow flurries to 500m in the ranges. Southwesterly winds.
Highs: 8-10

Southland & Otago
Mostly cloudy with the odd shower about Southland with breezy westerly winds. Otago has a mix of sun and cloud with lighter west to northwest winds however winds may be breezy about coastal Otago.
Highs: 8-10
