Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly cloudy, light winds tend northerly in the afternoon.
Highs: 16-18

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly cloudy with north to northwesterly winds, may be a light shower or two mainly about northern Taranaki and Kapiti.
Highs: 13-16

Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny with some high cloud from afternoon, coastal northeasterly winds about Hawkes Bay and Gisborne from midday, northwesterlies elsewhere.
Highs: 16-18

Wellington
Mostly cloudy, a few showers from late evening or overnight. Gusty north to northwesterly winds.
High: 15

Marlborough & Nelson
High cloud thickens up in the morning for Marlborough, lowering evening about Nelson with showers moving in. North to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 14-16

Canterbury
Thick high cloud, north to northeasterly winds increase.
Highs: 13-15

West Coast
Rain with heavy falls possible from afternoon, increasing north to northeasterly winds. Rain eases overnight.
Highs: 12-14

Southland & Otago
Plenty of high cloud, may be a few spots of rain from afternoon. North to north-easterly winds.
Highs: 10-14
