Sunny areas with east to southeasterly breezes, late afternoon or evening the odd shower may sneak through. About the Bay Of Plenty skies are a bit cloudier.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny areas with light winds, tending westerly in the afternoon. Cloud builds a little from afternoon inland and there may be a few isolated showers develop inland late afternoon / evening. A chance one or two may be heavy then clearing late evening.

Eastern North Island
Areas of cloud and some sun with northeasterly breezes, chance of a drizzle patch or two later in the evening.

Wellington
Sunny areas with northwesterly winds, breezy at times.
High: 22-23
 
Marlborough & Nelson
A few morning sunny areas then cloud thickens, the odd spot of rain possible late afternoon for Nelson and evening in Marlborough. Winds change southerly overnight with some rain towards dawn.
