Cloudy areas with westerly winds tending southwest in the afternoon, chance of a shower about mainly morning.

Mostly cloudy with breezy westerlies, winds change brisk southwest by
midday then easing later in the evening. A few showers about mainly in the
morning.
Highs: 26-27

Bay Of Plenty

Morning cloud with westerly winds picking up, a few brief showers possible
around midday then sunny areas develop into the afternoon as winds tend a little
more southwest.
Highs: 27-28

Waikato & Central North Island

Morning cloud with westerly winds and a few showers, sunny areas develop in
the afternoon as westerly winds tend a little more southwest.
Highs: 24-26

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny weather, northwesterly winds in the morning then winds change
southwest for a time in the afternoon.
Highs: 28-29

Taranaki

A few morning showers clear then expect periods of cloud and sunny spells,
gusty west tp southwesterly winds.
Highs: 23-24

Western North Island

A few early showers clear then expect periods of cloud and sunny spells.
Gusty westerly winds ease in the evening.

Any early spots of rain clear then expect sunny areas and some cloud,
strong northwesterly winds ease in the afternoon.

Sunny with southwesterly winds tending west to northwest in the
afternoon.

Marlborough

Mostly sunny with west to northwest breezes.
Highs: 26-27

Canterbury

Mostly cloudy weather with southwesterly winds, there may be a few morning
showers then clearing. Cloud breaks away overnight.

West Coast

Morning cloud and a few showers clearing then expect afternoon sunny
spells. Brisk southwesterlies, easing later in the evening..

Coastal Otago

Morning cloud with a few showers which then clear, strong southwesterly
winds ease in the afternoon then a few sunny spells may appear. Southwesterlies
die away in the evening.

Central Otago

Early showers clear then becoming mostly sunny by midday, westerly
winds.
High: 18

Southland

Morning showers clear, skies remaining mostly cloudy with brisk to strong
westerly winds although there could be a sunny spell or two in the afternoon.
Overnight further showers move in.
