An anticyclone brings mainly settled conditions today however once again many regions will see cloud about especially this morning. Winds light for most tending easterly about the top of the North Island.

Northland

Periods of cloud with a few sunny spells. Chance of a light shower now and then, especially in the east.

Highs: 14-15

Auckland

Some morning cloud then breaking to sunny spells by midday, light winds tend easterly. Cloud thickens again later this evening.

Bay Of Plenty

Some morning cloud then breaking to mostly sunny weather, light
winds.

High: 13

Waikato & Central North Island

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, light winds.

Highs: 13-14

Eastern North Island

Sunny spells with light winds, perhaps tending easterly in the
afternoon.

Highs: 12-13

Taranaki

Mostly sunny with southeasterly winds, easing this afternoon. Some cloud
about southern parts of the region clear away this morning.

High: 14

Western North Island

Cloud breaks to sunny spells this morning, light winds.

High: 14

Wellington

Any early drizzle clears then sunny spells break through this morning,
light southerlies.

High: 10-11

Nelson

Morning cloud breaks to sunny spells, light winds.

Highs: 12-13

Marlborough

Morning cloud breaks to sunny spells, light winds.

Highs: 13

Canterbury

Morning cloud breaks to sunny spells, light winds.

West Coast

Chance of an early drizzle patch then clearing, cloud breaks to sunny
spells by midday. Light winds.

Coastal Otago

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, light winds.

Central Otago

Any morning cloud clears to a mostly sunny day, light winds. There is a
chance some low cloud may hang about some valleys for much of the day.

Southland

Sunny spells with light westerly winds.

Highs: 12
