A front lies across the lower South Island tonight bringing some patchy rain, mainly dry elsewhere with cloudy areas for many breaking up overnight.

Northland
Clear spells and a few clouds about, sea breezes ease this evening then expect light winds overnight.
Tonight’s Lows: 8-10

Auckland

Clear spells, periods of cloud at times too. Southwesterly winds ease this evening.
Tonight’s Lows: 9-10

Bay Of Plenty

Cloudy skies break up overnight, northerlies ease this evening.
Tonight’s Low: 9

Waikato & Central North Island

Clear spells, areas of cloud for others breaking away overnight. Light
winds.
Tonight’s Lows: 6-7

Eastern North Island

Mainly clear skies with light winds, some high cloud about the Wairarapa
may spread a little further north overnight.
Tonight’s Lows: 7-9

Western North Island
Cloudy periods with northwesterly winds, about Taranaki
expect mainly clear skies with westerlies easing later this evening.

Wellington
Cloudy areas with northerlies, perhaps tending southerly for a time this evening then
easing.

Nelson

High cloud with southwesterlies easing this evening.
