Showers, heavy with thunderstorms for some North Island areas clearing this evening. Elsewhere conditions are fairly tame with east to northeasterly breezes along eastern coastlines and light winds in the west. There is the low risk of a late heavy shower popping up about inland Southland.

Clear with some cloud and east to northeast breezes, any isolated showers in the west clear this evening.

Cloudy areas, isolated heavy showers in the south and about Manakau Harbour clear this evening. Easterlies.

Central North Island, Bay Of Plenty, Waikato
Isolated showers, some heavy with thunderstorms clearing this evening. Easterly breezes. Clear spells and some cloud overnight.

Cloudy areas with the chance of a shower or two, easterly breezes.

Western North Island
Showers, heavy with thunderstorms north of Wanganui clearing this evening, Mainly clear further south. East to southeast breezes ease later this evening.

Some clear with south to southeasterly breezes tending northerly overnight. Skies becoming clear overnight also.

Mainly clear with northerly breezes easing this evening, isolated showers inland clear this evening.

Clear spells with some cloud near the coast, brisk to strong easterlies near the coast ease later this evening. Mainly clear skies overnight inland.

Mainly clear skies with sea breezes easing this evening, cloud near the ranges dissapates later. Isolated showers about Buller clear this evening also.

Mainly clear skies with easterly breezes easing later this evening.

Southland & Central Otago
Light winds overnight with mainly clear skies, sea breezes about Southland ease this evening. About inland Southland there is the low chance of an isolated heavy shower developing this evening before dark.
