> From the WeatherWatch archives

Heavy rain and potentially heavy snow are both in the forecast for southern parts of New Zealand on Thursday as a new low pressure system moves in.

Snow may well fall to 100m, with heavy falls higher up.

Rain may set in across Dunedin again – while other centres have a fairly mild and dry couple of days ahead before rain cross the North Island on Saturday.
