Thursday has been a calmer day across most of the country, though another windy burst of weather is on the way – typical for this time of year.

Friday we see a windy system coming in from the Tasman Sea, high pressure bringing plenty of gloomy low cloud for some, while northwesterlies will blow gustily in some parts.
