Just wondering what the “feels like” temperature in kaitaia was? Because if 26 feels like 33 with humidity then what would 29 feel like?

WW Forecast Team on 28/01/2010 6:10am

Probably more like 35 or 36 depending on the level of the humidity and stillness of the air.

Cheers

Bollocks.

Wyndham, 28km SE of Gore had a high of 33 degrees.
And you’re telling me the high in Alex was less?
Why do you persist in giving temps taken a mile up at the coldest spots you can find? It’s crap.

WW Forecast Team on 28/01/2010 6:10am

The temperatures are all taken by MetService weather observations.
