Settled for all of New Zealand today thanks to high pressure, warm temperatures too.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud, cloud may be thicker in the west. Fog morning and night for some especially inland like the Waikato, winds from the southwest. Bay Of Plenty has a mainly sunny day, winds may tend northerly.
Highs: 17 – 22

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, there may be coastal cloud morning and night, there also could be fog patches morning and night elsewhere. Light winds tend west to southwest in the afternoon.
Highs: 17 – 23

Eastern North Island

Sunny with a touch of high cloud, light winds tend to the south by midday then east in the afternoon, dying away in the evening.
Highs: 20 – 23

Wellington

Mostly sunny, some high cloud. Northerlies.
Highs: 17 – 23

Marlborough & Nelson

Mostly sunny with some high cloud, light winds tend northerly in the afternoon for Nelson, northeast for Marlborough.
Highs: 19 – 24

Canterbury

Mostly sunny with a touch of high cloud, east to northeasterly winds across the plains in the afternoon.
Highs: 20 – 25

West Coast

Mostly sunny with some high cloud and light winds, South Westland has areas of mid level cloud with northerlies, Fiordland has a few showers.
Highs: 17 – 23

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, light north to northwesterly winds. Afternoon northeasterlies for coastal Otago.
Highs: 21 – 26
