The weather across New Zealand is mainly settled today thanks to high pressure.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny with light southeasterly winds, tending a little more southwest in the afternoon.
Highs: 16-19

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny, a frosty start inland. Light winds.
Highs: 12-17

Eastern North Island

Mainly sunny weather south of Napier, some cloud at times north of about Napier. Gisborne has a mostly cloudy day. Light winds tend to the south.
Highs: 15-16

Wellington

Sunny with light winds.
Tonight’s Lows: 2-8
Highs: 15-16

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with light winds. A frosty start inland.
Highs: 15-17

Canterbury

Sunny with light winds, a touch of high cloud possible. A cold start especially inland.
Highs: 13-16

West Coast

Mostly sunny, some cloud at times along the coast fringe. Light winds.
Highs: 15-17

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny with a touch of high cloud, Southland may have a coastal spit or shower in the evening. A cold start for inland areas. Light winds for Otago, west to northwesterly winds for Southland.
Highs: 13-17
