Another mainly settled day for New Zealand thanks to high pressure, a front about the far south brings showers there however.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Cloudy areas for Auckland and Northland, chance of a shower. Elsewhere has partly cloudy skies with fog morning and night. Light winds tend southwest, tending onshore in the afternoon for Bay Of Plenty.
Highs: 13 – 15

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Partly cloudy, fog possible morning and night especially inland. Taranaki may see one or two light showers, clearing in the afternoon. Light winds tend south to southeast in the afternoon.
Highs: 10 – 14


Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny in the morning then cloud develops from afternoon as light winds tend southeast.
Highs: 13 – 14

Wellington
Partly cloudy, light northerlies tend southeast in the afternoon.
Highs: 12 – 13

Marlborough & Nelson
A mix of sun and cloud, light winds tend to the south in the evening.
Highs: 12 – 14


Canterbury
Mostly sunny although there may be fog patches morning and night, some high cloud by day. South Canterbury has mid level cloud with a few light evening showers possible. Light winds tend to the south around midday.
Highs: 12 – 13

West Coast
Morning cloud breaks to sun, Fiordland has showers or rain clearing in the afternoon. Light winds.
Highs: 12 – 15

Southland & Otago
Mostly cloudy, showers develop in the morning, clearing at night. Southland has a higher likelihood of showers, Otago has a lower risk but may still pick up on a few showers. Light northerlies tend southerly around midday.
Highs: 11 – 15
