Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly cloudy for Northland with occasional showers, any morning showers clear Auckland then remaining mostly cloudy, east to northeasterly winds. Waikato and Bay Of Plenty may see a few afternoon sunny spells break through with east to southeast winds.
Highs: 20-24

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Any morning cloud clears then sunny with southeasterly winds.
Highs: 19-23

Eastern North Island

A mostly cloudy day with the odd light shower or drizzle patch at times for Hawkes Bay and Gisborne, southeasterly winds.
Highs: 17-19

Wellington

Mostly sunny, some cloud may move in at times from the east (mainly morning). Southeasterly winds.
High: 18

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny, early cloud about coastal Marlborough clears. East to southeasterly winds.
Highs: 17-20

Canterbury

Early cloud breaks then sunny, east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 16-18

West Coast

Any morning cloud clears then sunny with light winds, tending onshore in the afternoon.

Southland & Otago
