Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Morning cloud breaks away then mostly sunny, some cloud hangs about western coastal parts of Northland and Auckland during the day. Southwesterly winds. Afternoon west to northwest breezes for Bay Of Plenty.
Highs: 21-26

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Any early cloud clears then mainly sunny, west to southesterly winds.
Highs: 19-24

Eastern North Island
Early cloud then sunny, light winds then afternoon sea breezes.
Highs: 24-27

Wellington
Sunny, some evening cloud as northerlies change southerly.
High: 22

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny, light winds then afternoon sea breezes. Some late evening cloud about Marlborough as light winds tend southeast.
Highs: 23-26

Canterbury
Mostly sunny, light winds tend southeast in the afternoon. Cloud thickens evening with some drizzle possible.
Highs: 20-24

West Coast
Cloudy areas and the odd shower, especially morning then dry spells gradually increase from afternoon. Mainly dry by evening. Southwesterly winds.

Southland & Otago
Morning cloud, risk of a shower then sunny areas increase from afternoon. Southwesterlies about Southland
spreading into Otago during the morning then easing evening.
