Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud about Northland and Auckland, a shower or two possible at times otherwise mainly dry. Mostly sunny about the Waikato and Bay Of Plenty. West to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 14-15

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny after a cold start, some cloud starts to drift into Taranaki in the morning then spreads elsewhere during the afternoon and evening. Light winds tend west to northwest after midday.
Highs: 10-13

Eastern North Island
Sunny with light afternoon east to northeast winds.
Highs: 12-14

Wellington
Mostly sunny then some cloud from afternoon, northerly winds.
High: 12

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with light north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-15

Canterbury
Sunny with light winds, tending northeast in the afternoon near the coast.
Highs: 10-13

West Coast
Morning sun possible then becoming mostly cloudy by midday, a light shower or two about Fiordland spreads elsewhere during the afternoon. Light winds tend west to southwest.
Highs: 10-12

Southland & Otago
Cloudy areas about Southland, risk of a shower or two mainly about the coastal fringe. Otago is mostly sunny, there may be some high cloud. West to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 10-13
