TEMPERATURES WARM UP A TOUCH FROM SUNDAY – EASTERN SOUTH ISLAND
Well above the temperatures for the South Island aren’t looking all that appealing, really nice crisp sunny days though. From Sunday the airflow tilts to the north a little and this means temperatures in the east should warm out of the high single figure / low double figure arena into the mid teens.
So get those lawn mowers ready for the last mow till next spring, Sunday should see lawns dry out a bit with dew less likely to hang around all day in Canterbury.
WINDY WEATHER IN THE NORTH EASES SATURDAY
A blustery southeast airflow running from East Cape through to eastern Northland eases on Saturday as a low to the northeast starts to move away. Maps below.
